Steve Birndorf

Steve Birndorf serves as Vice President of Channel Development, where he oversees a team focused on driving project and portfolio acquisition. He brings nearly 20 years of experience across renewable energy development, finance, and advisory roles, having worked with some of the industry’s most well-known and respected developers and IPPs.

Prior to joining BluePath, Steve worked at NextEra Energy, where he helped grow the renewable advisory practice within NextEra Energy Advisors—an independent energy advisor and broker serving commercial and industrial customers in deregulated markets.

Steve holds a BA in the Environmental Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a MS and a MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
